Review of Underdog

This is definitely a great album.  It has 12 tracks starting out with the awesome song               "Mighty Good Leader" and ending with the hilarious "Houseplant."  It also contains a                   swing-a-billy version of DC-10.

"Mighty Good Leader" has great music to it.  If you saw the first video of them in                      the studio, this song was playing in the background.  It is one of the better songs on the               album.  It is a great starting track that gets you hooked for the rest of the album.  This                 is about how great a leader God is for us.

The title track "Underdog" is next.  It starts out with a great guitar and drum intro and                 then the vocals and bass come.  I can understand why they chose this song as the title                 track.  It is about how God even loves the underdogs of the world.

"Get Down" is the third song.  Audio Adrenaline has used this song as the encore,                       replacing "Big House."  I really like this song.  It's about becoming a servant and God                 lifts us up.

"Good Life" comes next.  This is another great song from this album.  It is kind of a                     softer song than the first three.  It's about losing everything and realizing that it's better                 to have God than all the riches of the world.

"My Love" is the fifth song on the album.  It has some great guitar-work throughout                     the whole song.  It's slow during the verses and gets faster for the chorus and the                         bridge.  This is a cover of a Pete Townshend song.

"Hands and Feet" comes after this.  It starts out with drums then goes to guitars before               the verse.  I like this song a lot.     It's about doing God's work by doing what He tells                 us and going where He tells us.

"Jesus Movement" is the seventh song on the album.  It's kind of hard to describe the                style of music. My brother says that it sounds a lot like Sugar Ray.  It's about how                      God's love is everywhere.

Next, the remake of "DC-10"!!  This time it's swing-a-billy.  I really like this version                   of the song.  It's very cool.  They changed some of the lyrics.  They cut out the part                     that goes like "Your head hurts and you take a pill..." and put in a part about a 747                     crashing through the roof of a 7 Eleven.

"It is Well" is the next song.  They remade this hymn as a duet with Jennifer Knapp.                      Jennifer and Mark sing really well on this song.

"This Day" comes right after "It is Well."  It uses a lot of piano and strings.  It's a really                 good song about committing today for God.

"It's Over"  is the second to last song on the album.  It has a harder intro then gets                      softer for the verses and gets harder again for the chorus. It's about how they hope that               people will get something out of their concerts when its over.

"Houseplant" is the final song.  It is so AWESOME!  I'm not sure if it was actually                       recorded in a coffee shop or just supposed to be like it is.  I think that it may be Bob                 singing, but I'm not sure.  It is my personal favorite song from the album.  It's about                     how some people say all rock and roll is evil even if it's Christian.  It's really hilarious.                 I've listen to it over and over.

That's my review for the album.  You should definitely get it when it comes out.
