Chase The Sun Review
This is a great album. It is already one of my favorites. It is definitely worth getting. It is different from their other albums, but it is still really good.
"One Voice" is the first rock single to be released from this album. It is definitely one of my favorites. A great opening for the album.
"Hallelujah" is a great worship song. It has a catchy tune and is pretty cool to listen to.
You may have already heard "In Between" on "Moms Like Us Too." It rocks! It has a nice guitar intro at the beginning.
"Away From You" is the first CHR radio single from the album to be released. It's an o.k. song, but not as good as I thought it would be. I had listened to a Harvest Crusade over the internet and was very excited when I heard a new song. It just doesn't seem as good as it did live, although Crystal Lewis did a better job than I thought she would.
"Dedication" is a good song. It has another cool intro. Then, it slows down for the verse and gets faster. Definitely one of the better songs.
"Grounded" is probably either my first favorite song or second favorite. It has a weird echo thing on the chorus. You'll have to listen to it. It is one of the harder songs on the album. I think it is a great song.
"Sure Shot" is a good song. Kind of a slow song, but it is still good.
"Old Friend"- I had heard that they had two acoustic songs on the album. It is definitely not a regular Supertones song. Tony and Darren wrote this song (only one not written by Matt), and I think it's Tony singing.
"Chase the Sun" is the title track for the album. This song isn't a regular Supertones song, either. I like it, but it is not one of the better songs on the album. Weird, kind of rap song.
"Fade Away" is a good song. I like it a lot. It has some good bass, guitar, and horn parts.
"Hanani" is an o.k. song. This one didn't really stand out the first time I listened to it, but I am starting to like it more, now.
"Revolution" - An instrumental that is great. I don't like it as much as "Caught Inside" though. Although, it gets kind of weird towards the end.
"Health and Wealth"- I think this is the one that competes with "Grounded" for the best song on the album. I didn't like it much the first time, but now I have listened to this song about twenty-five times!! It should definitely be released to radio next! It has a cool intro.
"Refuge" is the final song on the album. It is another acoustic song. It is a nice ending to the album.
